Are you a science student? Do you want to become an entrepreneur as well?

This online course will help you understand and use the basic principles of economics. In short, it is a condensed introduction to microeconomics with an emphasis on innovation and strategic interaction.

The course can be used as a MOOC (Massive Open Online Courses) freely accessible to everyone interested in the subject. It can also be used as a SPOC (Small Private Online Courses) adopted locally with on-campus students of universities. The SPOC is already part of two minor programmes:

  • Minor Business and Innovation for bachelor science students at the KU Leuven
  • Minor Technology Entrepreneurship for bachelor science students at Stichting VU

This MOOC was created as part of the Erasmus+ project IBIS (Implementation of a Business and Innovation module in Science programmes: www.ibisproject.eu). The course content was created by KU Leuven. The project was funded with support from the European Commission (Project number: 2015-BE02-KA203-012261). The information in this project reflects the views only of the authors, and the Commission cannot be held responsible for any use which may be made of the information contained therein.
